Who are we?

Gemini Walks is a specialist Scottish walking holiday company who will soon have almost a quarter of a century’s experience booking up walks in Bonny Scotland. We aim to dedicate our knowledge and expertise to ensure that your Scottish adventure is a holiday to remember

Julie and her capable assistant Michelle are just a wee team but we work hard to provide you with a personal, friendly and professional service ensuring that the excitement of your holiday starts from the minute you contact Gemini Walks

Julie Deans

Born a 'Falkirk Bairn' Julie has always been proud to be Scottish and has led a fit and active life from a very young age. Although well travelled in her home country, Julie’s chance of promoting Scotland did not transpire until she started her business career when she came up with the idea of Easyways in 1996. With a work ethic second to none, Easyways was a storming success and Julie grew the company for over a decade until family commitments with elderly parents led to her selling the business in 2006. However, after a well deserved rest, Julie could not stay away long and is proud to be at the helm of Gemini Walks continuing to help walkers experience the beauty of Scotland

Favourite Adventures: reaching the summit of Kilimanjaro in 2002 and now having walked the West Highland Way a trio of times, the most recent in Autumn 2019

Michelle Cook

Also born a 'Falkirk Bairn' Michelle's path has taken a different direction with concentrating on bringing up her cherished son and daughter Kieran and Sarah as well as working in the nursing and childcare professions. Since Michelle took a bold career change to join Gemini Walks in early 2018 (she cuildnae take the screaming wains any mair), she has never looked back and loves dealing with clients from all over the globe. Her experience in working in the caring sector really shines through since both her good self and Julie really do care passionately about everyone having a wonderful walking holiday in Scotland

Favourite Adventures: being a novice walker, tackling the West Highland Way in 2018 with hubby Adrian was a fabulous achievement and then followed the Great Glen Way in 2019. Michelle and Adrian particularly enjoyed the high level routes of the Great Glen Way with wonderful views across Loch Ness

Snoopy Dog

Having loved animals all of their lives, in 2011 Julie and hubby Scott found themselves in the fortunate position of having time to welcome ten month old Snoopy Spaniel into their brood joining cats Scapa and Canna. The Snoopmeister has since never left Julie’s side, whether it be snuggling down in the office or accompanying her on the many outings whilst walking and researching the long distance trails offered by Gemini Walks

Brianna Babe

Joining the Deans clan in Spring 2018 as a tiny eight week old pup, wee Brianna Spaniel melted all of our hearts and has made a fabulous companion for her idol Snoopy. She also loves to cuddle down in the office and her walking debut was when she successfully completed the West Highland Way in Autumn 2019. She is looking forward to galloping along many other long distance paths in years to come
